Alonso Acknowledges Pressure

Alonso Can Handle Heat

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mikel Alonso acknowledges that the club is under pressure but he beleives that the Trotters have enough about them to improve on the position which they currently find themselves in.

Alonso, currently on a year long loan deal from Real Sociedad, told the Bolton News that pressure is all part and parcel of football regardless of whether things are good or bad.

"Football is big pressure because there are a lot of people involved with a lot of things,"

"But this is the job, this is the work. We know there's pressure, and when things go wrong the pressure increases, and the importance of getting points, and getting a victory, is bigger." said the Spaniard

The 27-year old has so far been a regular at the Reebok Stadium since his summer move, making nine appearances in all competitions, six of which from the start of the game.
