Toffees Test Awaits Reserves

Bolton Wanderers reserves will be hoping to build on last week's Manchester Senior Cup win over Oldham Athletic when they take on their Everton counterparts at the County Ground in Leyland later on this evening.

Goals from Zoltan Harsanyi, Robert Sissons and Michael Burns gave Wanderers only their second win of the season when coming up against the Latics and coach Jimmy Phillips will want more of the same against the Toffees.

Last season Bolton gained four points when coming up against Everton in their Championship winning campaign and ex-Toffees midfielder Idan Tal scored on each occasion.

The first game was a 2-2 draw at Runcorn's Halton Stadium in December 2006 and the second contest came four months later with Bolton recording a 2-1 win at the County Ground.
