Andranik Teimourian has revealed that he is scheduled to hold talks with Bolton Wanderers over the next few weeks in an attempt to extend his stay at the Reebok Stadium to beyond the expiry of his current deal next summer.

The 24-year old has rarely featured for Bolton since the departure of previous manager Sam Allardyce in April as neither Sammy Lee or Gary Megson have included the Iranian in their plans.

He has made just six appearances this term and four of which have come in the cup competitions with the last being in the famous win away at Red Star Belgrade at the start of this month.

World Cup star Teimourian proved to be one of the finds of last season having made a successful move from Abu Moslem and he soon became a favourite of the Bolton fans when scoring twice against Wigan Athletic at the JJB Stadium last season.

Clubs from Spain and Germany are beleived to be interested in taking on Teimourian should protracted talks come to nothing and as his contract is up next May he will be free to talk with other clubs in the New Year.

"I have a meeting with Bolton officials next month regarding this matter. I have offers from Spanish and German league teams." revealed Andranik 

"If I do not reach a deal with Bolton officials, based on UEFA regulations, I can negotiate with interested parties in January."
