Wanderers Show Interest In Forest Pair

The January transfer window could see Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson make a move for two players who he managed during his ill-fated spell in charge of League One side Nottingham Forest as the versatile Kris Commons and striker Nathan Tyson are beleived to be on the scouting radar.

Former Stoke City man Commons is one of the Coca Cola Leagues hottest prospects and the 24-year old has already found the net for promotion hopefuls Forest on eight occasions so far this term.

He can play as a winger on the left, in the centre of midfield or as part of a three man attack and Megson hasn't forgotten him following his spell in charge at the City Ground in 2005.

Tyson on the other hand is a striker and checks where apparently made by Bolton officials on him during Friday's 2-0 away win at Brighton where he netted both of the goals for the evening.

He has seven goals for the season so far and his former clubs include Reading, Maidenhead United, Cheltenham Town and Wycombe Wanderers, the latter of whom he scored 39 league goals for in 68 games.
