Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies is confident that the club can prove victorious in their UEFA Cup match against Atletico Madrid on Thursday evening and be in the mix of teams progressing through to the last sixteen of the competition.
Bolton currently hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg at the Reebok Stadium and Davies feels that the Wanderers have what it takes to complete the job in Madrid.
The Wanderers have lost just once in European competition and have achieved great results away from home against the likes of Bayern Munich and Red Star Belgrade but Davies says last week's home game against the Spaniards was the best yet.
"I think last week's win was our best result." said the former Southampton and Blackburn striker.
"We were delighted with the win but we know we've only done half a job.It will be tough but with the team and squad we've got we know we can go through.
"It's obviously different over there but there's a lot of pressure for them to come and have a go at us."
Davies was Bolton's hero in the Group stages of the competition when netting a dramatic late equaliser in the memorable 2-2 draw against Munich back in November.
