The shirt worn by right half Derek Hennin for Bolton Wanderers in their 1958 FA Cup Final truimph over Manchester United is to be sold by internet auction site E-Bay from this week with a starting bid of £2,500.
Prescot-born Hennin joined Bolton from his hometown club Prescot Cables in 1949 and he went on to appear in 164 league games for the club during the later years of Walter Rowley's management and early days of Bill Ridding's tenure.
An England youth international whilst at Burnden Park, he moved onto Chester City for a two season spell in 1961 after seeing the likes of Graham Stanley force their way ahead of him in the Wanderers pecking order.
He was sadly the first member of the cup winning squad to pass away in 1987.
