Matias Almeyda could have been a Wanderer in December, now he is on the verge of quitting the game. River Plate had an agreement in place with the midfielder for next season, but it looks like he is going to retire instead

"I decided to hang up my boots because I am tired of football" the Argentine revealed "I started to think that I would have to travel, concentrate on Friday for playing on Sunday so I preferred to say no. I don’t want that type of life for me anymore"
