It had been a long time coming, but Mexican forward Jared Borgetti can now call himself a fully fledged Bolton Wanderers player after finally signing a two year contract at the Reebok Stadium.

The prolific South American hot shot completed his dream move to England on Thursday afternoon and is set to be revealed to the watching media at the end of this week before taking a well earned three week break to rest and familiarise himself with his new surroundings.

Speaking of the move, Borgetti told the official site that he is eager to get started.

"I can't wait to get started, I will take three weeks off to rest and be ready to make an impact on the Premiership. This is a great honour for me to play for Bolton Wanderers in the strongest league in the world."
