Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is in no rush to find a First-Team coach following the close season departure of Neil McDonald to Crystal Palace

Allardyce confirmed that a number of applicants had been interviewed for the post vacated by McDonald, but as yet the Wanderers boss is more than happy to rely on the help of Assistant manager Sammy Lee and Youth Academy coach Jimmy Phillips.

The Bolton cheif told the club's official website that the interview process would be ongoing throughout the rest of August and that a decision would be made once the right candidate comes along.

"We've gone through quite a number of interviews," said Allarydce

"We'll be thinking about interviewing into the next two weeks as well. We'll see what comes our way to make the right selection, but at the moment, me, Sammy and Jimmy (Phillips) are moving along quite nicely"
