Japanese star Hidetoshi Nakata has spoken at length about his recent high profile loan move from Fiorentina to Bolton Wanderers...
The 28-year old has held a desire to play in the English leagues for quite some time now, so a move to Bolton Wanderers gives him the perfect chance to show many why he is considered to be one of Asia's best ever exports.
Nakata has not been able to see much coverage of the Premiership during his eight years in the Italian Serie A, but what bits he has seen or been involved in has given him a favourable impression of how the game is played in this country.
The ex-Roma star cannot wait to get started with his new team, his first target as a Wanderers player is to succeed and progress in the Premiership and the UEFA Cup competitions.
"It's The Premiership and I have been wanting to play here for a couple of years, I got a chance to play in England and I played against Leeds and Liverpool in the Uefa Cup."
"I like the atmosphere in the stadiums, the people and the fans.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't get to see the matches a lot when I was in Italy but, maybe, after seven years in Italy it's very nice to play in England and especially in Bolton.
"They have been doing very well for the last couple of years and this year they will also play in the Uefa Cup, which is very important for the club and also for me as well.
"I am very happy to be here, to be a member of Wanderers, and I look forward to playing as soon as possible."
