Reserves Take On Liverpool

Bolton reserves will be hoping to build on last weeks slender 1-0 win over Leeds United this evening as they face local rivals Liverpool at the County Ground.
The Wanderers second eleven did the double over their Merseyside opponents last season and will be lifted if they can continue their recent form when facing Alex Miller's side.
In October 2004 Portuguese teenager Ricardo Vaz-Te scored a brace in the game at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground to hand Bolton a 2-1 victory. The promising young striker also hit the target against the Reds in the corresponding fixture at the County Ground in March as Bolton won by the same scoreline.
Experienced Senegalese winger Khalilou Fadiga netted the other Wanderers goal against Liverpool that night, with the successful strike being his first goal since moving from Inter Milan a year ago.
Fadiga will not be involved in tonight's game as he is currently on loan to Championship outfit Derby County but reserves manager Jimmy Phillips does select two members of Bolton's UEFA Cup squad in his starting line up as Mexican international Jared Borgetti leads the Trotters attack with Irish U21 star Joey O'Brien playing an important role marshalling the midfield.
Reds boss Miller includes recent signings Godwin Antwi and Antonio Barragan in his line up for the short trip to Lancashire. Trialist winger Paul Anderson of Hull City gains a place on the Reds substitutes bench and will hope to get an opportunity to impress.
Former Wanderers target Jack Hobbs lines up in the Liverpool midfield alongside David Mannix and Ramon Calliste following his big money summer move from Lincoln City.
