Desailly Link Resurfaces

A renewed move for former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly could be likely according to reports in today's Daily Mirror newspaper..

The 36-year old is now without a club after leaving Qatar-based Al-Gharafa earlier this month and the tabloids have immediately linked the World Cup winner with a move to either the Wanderers or Portsmouth.

Earlier in the year Desailly stated that he would like to return to Europe and do similar to what Fernando Hierro did whilst at Bolton last season. This ultimately lead to the big defender being misquoted and linked with a move to the Reebok Stadium.

Desailly made over 150 appearances for Chelsea in six years and won the FA Cup and Community Shield whilst at Stamford Bridge. He is taking time out to review his options and a move to Bolton is by no means a certainty.
