Henrik Set For First Team Return

Henrik Pedersen has been named in the Bolton Wanderers squad for the UEFA Cup trip to French club Olympique Marseille on Thursday evening.

The Danish utility player has been absent for four months with an achillies injury but came through the first half of last nights reserve defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers with no repercussions and is in contention to line up in the match at the Stade Velodrome which could make or break the Wanderers European plans.

Assistant manager Sammy Lee, speaking in the absence of manager Sam Allardyce, says that the return of the former Silkeborg player Pedersen is like having a new signing in the squad.

"It is like having a new signing. He came through the game very well. It is nice to have him back and that is promising news for us."
