O'Brien To Win First Cap

Bolton defender Joey O'Brien will win his first cap for the Republic of Ireland when they play Sweden at Lansdowne Road tommorow evening.

The 20-year old has been named in the starting line up by new Republic boss Steve Staunton and will line up alongside more senior professionals such as Andy O'Brien, Ian Harte and Richard Dunne.

Reading striker Kevin Doyle also wins his first cap after being in excellent form for the Coca Cola Championship title chasers. Former Cork City man Doyle will line up alongside newly appointed captain Robbie Keane.
