Reserves Travel To Sunderland

Bolton Wanderers reserves will be hoping to build on last week's draw with West Bromwich Albion as they take on Sunderland at Durham's Archibalds Stadium later this evening.

Henrik Pedersen's twelvth minute strike in the 1-1 draw against the Baggies was the Wanderers first goal at this level in over five matches so coach Jimmy Phillips will be looking for most consistency in from his side front of goal.

Tonight Bolton will have the opportunity to record a rare reserve league double as the reverse fixture against the Black Cats at the County Ground back in October went in the Wanderers favour thanks to a double from Ricardo Vaz-Te and a further effort from full back Rhys Powell.

A young side takes to the field in Durham with Spaniard Oscar Perez being the most experienced visiting player on show.

Sunderland include former Blackburn Rovers striker Jon Stead and one time West Ham defender Christian Bassila. The on-loan Arsenal full back Justin Hoyte also makes the Mackems starting line up.
