Henrik Pedersen hopes to put a four month injury nightmare behind him as he aims to fire Bolton Wanderers towards their second successive European campaign.

The 30-year old started the campaign operating as a makeshift left back due to the enforced absence of Ricardo Gardner but the ex-Silkeborg goal getter is under no doubt as to where he would prefer to be playing given the choice.

"I started the season as a left back, but got injured, But I still see myself as a striker. As a striker, scoring a goal is the best feeling." said the long serving Scandanavian recently

Pedersen scored his first goal of the season against West Ham United on Saturday, a notable strike because it was his first of the current campaign and his first at the Reebok Stadium since the opening day of last season.
