Tal Signing To Go Through

Israeli international midfielder Idan Tal will complete his protracted Bosman style move from Maccabi Haifa to Bolton Wanderers...

There had been some doubt over the move for the one time Everton player due to involvement of agent Craig Allardyce, son of the Bolton manager Sam, but any misunderstandings have now been cleared up thus allowing the player to make the move back to England once his current contract with Maccabi finishes in the close season.

Meanwhile Bolton are confident that they can tie goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen to a new contract in the next couple of days after a new round of talks proved to be successful.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is relieved that discussions have reached a satisfactory conclusion.

"The deal with Jussi is very close now, I would have thought it will be done by the back end of this week or the beginning of next at the latest."
