Diouf Linked With Rangers Move

Bolton bad boy El-Hadji Diouf could be about to make the move North to Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers according to reports in the Sunday newspapers.

The 25-year old has been heavily criticised over his fitness by Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce in recent weeks and is seemingly likely to be left out of the team for the remaining two Premiership matches.

This has lead to unsubstansial rumours that French coach Paul Le Guen will make the Senegal striker one of his first signings once taking over the Ibrox hotseat from Alex McLeish in the summer.

Le Guen worked with Diouf in the late 1990's at Rennes but Allardyce has already confirmed that the Bolton record signing will be part of the Wanderers squad next season regardless.

Meanwhile Bolton are said to be monitoring developments over George Boateng's contract situation at Middlesbrough. The Dutchman is a free agent in the summer and has yet to agree a new deal with the Teeside club.
