Palace Snub Record Johnson Bid

Crystal Palace have rejected a substansial £8 million bid from Bolton Wanderers for England international striker Andrew Johnson..
Johnson has been the target of intense transfer speculation throughout the course of this summer with a number of clubs in the top flight keen to secure the services of the Eagles top goalscorer.
Everton and Wigan Athletic join Wanderers in their pursuit of the 25-year old forward who is resigned to leaving Selhurst Park after Palace failed in the Play Off Semi Finals.
Simon Jordan, chairman of the London club, confirmed that all three interested parties had tabled offers which where rejected, with the Wanderers record bid of £8 million being the highest.
