Hamann Move In Doubt

A move to bring Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann to the Reebok Stadium could fail according to sources close to the Bolton Evening News.
The newspaper claims that the Wanderers could miss out on the veteran midfield battler due to the fact that he wants to end his career in his native Germany with a Bundesliga club.
Everything looked to be in place for the 32-year old to end his seven-year stay at Anfield and move to Bolton, but now it seems as if the Trotters could once again miss out on acquiring the services of the ex-Newcastle United man for the second time in twelve months.
Bolton have already missed out on one of their prime transfer targets this summer as England striker Andy Johnson chose to make the move from Crystal Palace to Everton.
