Wanderers Tackle London Trio Early On

Bolton Wanderers will kick off the new football season with a home game against UEFA Cup participants Tottenham Hotspur in what will be the first of three early fixtures against London clubs.

The game at the Reebok Stadium will take place on the 19th August and this will then be followed by trips to the capital to take on Fulham and Charlton Athletic in the week after.

Other notable fixtures see a repeat of the 2002 Boxing Day fixture against Newcastle United whilst the games against Manchester United occur in mid October (at home) and mid March away.

Champions Chelsea come to South Lancashire at the end of November whilst a trip to Liverpool is forecast for New Years Day.
