Dutch Friendly Announced

Bolton Wanderers have arranged a home friendly against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar as part of their pre-season preparations for the 2006-2007 season.

Alkmaar finished as runners up behind PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie last season and like the Wanderers also took part in the 2005-2006 UEFA Cup competition.

Former Glasgow Rangers striker Shota Arveladze is a man to watch out for in their side as he hit over 20 goals in the league last season thus making him one of the top goalscorers in Holland.

Also AZ are managed by the highly respected one time Ajax and Barcelona coach Louis Van Gaal.
