Agent Confirms Saviola Interest

The agent of Barcelona striker Javier Saviola has confirmed that Bolton Wanderers are interested in securing the services of his client.

The Argentine forward is looking for a move away from the Nou Camp to get regular first team football and his agent Alfredo Kamprera says that there has already been a strong interest in the 26-year old South American.

Panathinaikos, Arsenal and the Wanderers have all been mentioned as potential suitors by Kamprera who revealed that his client would like to stay in Spain or move to the Premiership.

There is a proposal from Panathinaikos, as there are from other teams. One of them is Arsenal, while there is also interest from Bolton," Kamprera told Greek sports daily Sport Day.

"Our priority is for Javier to remain in Spain or go to England, because he is interested in the quality of the football. Greece is not first choice as the league is not the same quality as in other countries" he added

Saviola spent last season on loan at Sevilla and was an important part of their team which defeated Middlesbrough to lift the UEFA Cup. Ironically he also made a fleeting appearance as a substitute against the Wanderers in the Group Stages of that competition at the end of last year.
