Ruddy linked with Blackpool loan deal

Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy has been linked with a move to League 1 side Blackpool. The England under-19 keeper recently signed for Everton for £250,000 following a spell at Cambridge

Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy has been linked with a move to League 1 side Blackpool. The England under-19 keeper recently signed for Everton for £250,000 following a spell at Cambridge, however it is likely that David Moyes would be willing to let the keeper go out on loan to gain some first team experience.

It was in the Blackpool Gazette that Blackpool may be about to make an offer to Everton to take the 18 year old on a season long loan. However Blackpool have neither confirmed nor denied whether they are interested in Ruddy and today signed goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi from Oldham, which may cast some doubt on the deal.
