Nigel Martyn is considering England return

Nigel Martyn has considered coming out of International retirement to help England in the World Cup after recent display against Denmark. Paul Robinson would still be first choice but with the experience that Martyn has it would only benefit the England team.

Nigel Martyn, 39, retired from International duty back in 2003 to concentrate on domestic duties and aid Everton's recovery and to get back into Europe.

Recent displays against Denmark has brought on more pressure to step back up to International football and aid to relieve some of the pressure from Paul Robinson.

Martyn spoke out recently and stated,"It is a World Cup year and you don't rule anything out."

But Martyn has stated that the days off he has had has benefited him and the team, Nige states,"That enabled me to prolong my career because those trips are hard, you are training constantly."
