David Moyes has been approached by clubs

Last season it was fairly common knowledge that Celtic approached Everton over a possible long term replacement in David Moyes when Martin O'Neil stepped down from the club. However, it has now emerged that a Premiership club has recently approached David Moyes.

David Moyes has not revealed what club, but it was fairly common knowledge as well that Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson wanted David as his Number 2, especially as recent discontent has been highlighted with Queiroz picking players out of position.

The other club has been rumoured to be Newcastle United, with Freddy Shepherd becoming more impatient with the amount of money Souness has spent with little or no success.
