23rd- It emerged during an interview with David Moyes that we had tried to sign Dutch International Kuyt and Micheal Owen. The signing of Owen went as far as having a bid accepted by Real Madrid but personal terms could not be met, and Owen has his fingers crossed for a return to Anfield.

24th- Nigel Martyn is the possible answer to England's disastrous back up keeper David James and has not ruled out a return to international football. Everton are sunk by Spanish Yellow Submarines Villareal in a controversial game in which the once great Collina ruled out a perfectly good Everton goal and made questionnable decisions all night.

26th- Andy Van Der Meyde and Roma's Ferrari are in negotiations this week to sign. After being taken off injured, it emerged that Pistone will be out for season. The UEFA cup draw is announced and Everton will play against Dinamo Bucharest with the first leg away.

27th- Ferrari signs for the blues but is unable to play against Fulham away from home in which Neville was sent off in the last minute of the game due to diving antics of Radzinski

28th- David Moyes has been linked to sign Nugent from Preston North End as well as signing a quality european forward.
