Beattie Has Picked Up A Fresh Injury

unconfirmed reports have now been officially confirmed, James Beattie is crocked again. This time though its not so straight forward.During the Reserve match against Newcastle he was withdrawn after just 45 mins on the pitch.

BBC reported that he had picked up a niggling foot injury although nothing was mentioned from Goodison. However it has now been confirmed that the Former England International Striker has picked up a toe injury.

From the official club statement that Moyes gave regarding this injury, he went on to quote, “He feels his toe still isn’t right and we will now need to give him the required rest to get himself right.” .

Beattie has little time left to prove to the fans, the club, David Moyes and himself that he can still perform 100% after only scoring 3 goals since his £6.5m move from the Saints.
