Duo Injury Scare

After a relatively successful weekend, Everton where brought crashing down to Earth with the news that Cahill and Valente have picked up injuries. Cahill has a shin injury and Valente has an issue with his hamstring.

Valente went off injured after pulling his hamstring, but Cahill received his knock from Hibbert. Despite the injury Tim went on to play over 20 minutes with the swollen shin

Physio Chief Mick Rathbone said about Cahill, "It was a bang and hopefully there is no further damage than that but we will be able to assess it better in the next 24 hours."

Unfortunatly, the injuries will make them a doubt for the mid week cup clash against Boro.
