Arteta wins player of the Month

Mikel Arteta has won the TUN player of the month award for November. In what was a mixed month for the toffees Arteta was one of the few players to shine throughout with marvellous displays helping the blues to victories against Middlesbrough and Newcastle.

Arteta narrowly won with 29% of the votes with Joseph Yobo coming in second with 26% of the votes. Yobo would have also been a worthy winner scoring the winner against Newcastle as well as performing very well at the back. But it has been judged that Mikle Arteta was the player who deserved the award the most and very few Evertonians would argue with that.
