Kroldrup Heading Back to Italy

Per Kroldrup looks set to join Fiorentina on a three and a half year deal according to several sources in Denamrk and Italy. Everton chief executive Keith Wyness also confirmed that the club are in talks with Firoentina over a deal.

Kroldrup who has only taken part in 2 competative matches since signing from Udinese for 5million in the summer has never been given a chance to show he can make it in England. He is an excellent centre half who makes the game look easy and if he had been given more of a go I'm sure he could have shown that. Kroldrup went over to the gwladys street end after the match against Millwall yesterday and clapped them in a manner that said thank you for the support and goodbye.

Kroldrup said, 'When the opportunity come up, it was just to take it, I would like to return to Italy and now there is no way back. I don't really feel I have had the chance to prove my worth.'

I have no doubts that Kroldrup will once again prove what a top defender he is in Italy and Fiorentina are very lucky to have got him. I wouldn't be surprised for him to return to England in a couple of seasons and be outstanding. It has been a strange transfer with many rumours flying around but they seem as if they are about to end.

All the best Per and good luck actually being given a game.
