Northampton boss Colin Calderwood has recalled Brett Johnson from his loan with the club, due to them have a injury problems.
Official Press Release from Gravesend & Northfleet: Due to a growing list of injuries at Northampton Town, Manager Colin Calderwood has unfortunately found it necessary to recall Brett Johnson. Brett was in the second month of his loan period and FA rules permit his recall at any point after his initial 28 day period. Liam Daish says “This is a blow particularly as we have lost the services of Andy Drury, Jay Saunders and Jimmy Jackson over the past couple of days. It should however give one or two others who have been waiting patiently in the wings the opportunity to get back into the starting line up”. Brett made 5 appearances in a Fleet shirt, and who knows he may come back once Northampton have sorted their problems.
