Struggles can make us stronger, thinks Kubica

Robert Kubica left the island state in the Persian Golf disappointed following his 18th place at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Despite this, the BMW Sauber F1 Team refuses to let the setbacks of recent weeks get him down: "You have to take the positive aspects from winning, and the positive aspects from losing."

"Setbacks can make you much stronger. Actually, you can profit much more from losing than from winning," says the Pole, who is yet to pick up any points four races into the 2009 Formula One season.

"Of course, I enjoy the times when everything is running smoothly," he continues. "However, life is always changing. Sooner or later you will have to deal with difficulties again. It is important to conquer these difficulties in the right mood, and to learn from them."
