Heidfeld and Kubica escale to 4 & 7th in the grid

Following the partly chaotic qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld gained places on the provisional starting grid for the 15th race of the season due to several drivers receiving a grid penalty.

Nick benefits from the five-place grid penalties of Adrian Sutil (Force India) and Rubens Barrichello (Brawn) for failing to slow down adequately under yellow flags. He will start from P4. Robert is listed in eighth, moving up five places on the grid.
