C.A. article to guarantee Sauber/Qadbak a slot in 2010 grid?

It seems not all may be lost for the successor of the BMW Sauber F1 Team. According to the subscriber's version of reputed Autosport, the Qadbak team may have a new chance to make it to the 2010 grid. Obviously we won't be cut/pasting that content, but will explain you what it says...

Apparently only 12 teams have signed the Resource Restriction Agreement.This agreement is necessary for the Concorde Agreement.

This article says that teams that have been in the championship the last five years and reached the constructor championship "top ten" in at least two of the three last seasons are given priority over new entrants or those who haven't matched it. What's more, its application does not take into account whether or not team name or engine supplier changes.

To reach a conclusion, we learn the important bit, quoting the Autosport article: "...Thus, regardless of which newcomer has not signed up to the RRA and/or Concorde Agreement, Qadbak is due priority regardless of whether the team had lodged an entry"

Will this mean that finally the Hinwil guys can be upbeat and feel their jobs are secured?

We hope so, and expect to see developments regarding this issue soon...

On a final note, much speculation can emerge regarding which of the new teams didn't sign. Incidentally in the last few hours we have heard that both Campos and USF1 are struggling, with the first having an uncertain finacial situation and the latter not even having clear their future, as it's even rumored that their employes are contracted on a daily basis and Alex Wurz has given up on negotiations due to this uncertaincy. Little is known about Manor/Wirth/Virgin F1, either.
