contract tomorrow or has already signed and it's going to be announced tomorrow. Palace's player of the season will cost about £1.75 Million and

will team up with his old Palace team mate "One Size" Fitz Hall who joined from Palace earlier in the summer. Anyone know how Palace's defence fared a couple of years ago in the Premiership? It wasn't that good. 62 goals conceded compared to Wigan's 52 last season. Still, I'm sure 'arry will sort 'em out.


Boyce could be joining as a direct replacement for Chimbonda who could be on his way to Spurs if you go by some of the papers. Spurs are offering Danny Murphy, Andy Reid and some cash apparently, which in my opinion would be good business for a player who doesn't want to be at Wigan.

Wigan are also on the trail of Andy Webster from Hearts, but so are Blackburn. Another name mentioned on the web today is Villareal's Luis Valencia, but Blackburn are also meant to be after him as well.

Time will tell who comes and who doesn't but I think Paul Jewell has bought wisely so far and if the players play to there potential he has bought very well.
