Thursdays ramblings

Right then, another go at writing some stuff that might be fairly accurate and possibly moderately amusing, or it could just do a Ronaldo and fall flat on it’s face. We’re talking the Man Utd Ronaldo here and not the fat one from Madrid.

Luis Valencia has signed up for a year on loan. Just got to wait for a work permit now and he can join. I don’t like work permits. I’d sign a player on Football Manager and he’d never get a work permit. I hope my jinx with work permits doesn’t rub off. Still I suppose I was trying to sign unknown players and not internationals.

Chimonda has thrown his toys out the pram I see. He’s saying PJ and co said they wouldn’t stand in his way if a big club came in. I’m sure if Real Madrid or Barcelona offered £3 Mil the Jewellster would say of course you can have one of our prize assets for next to nothing because you are a big club and little Wigan are not in the same league as you. Get real Pascal, fact is you are a good player who this time last year nobody had heard of. The Jewellster took a chance with you and it paid off. You were chosen to go to the World Cup and picked in the Premierships team of the season, and all this playing for Little Wigan. Fact is you are now worth 6 million quid nowand I for one hope PJ and DW stick to their guns and don’t settle for less.

The Jewellster has said he getting frustrated with The Duke saga. He offered money, how much I don’t know but probably about £3 mil if I was to hazard a guess and the Baggies have turned it down. I’d like to see The Duke back but it looks like it ain’t gonna happen. I bet he knows how Martin Jol feel now.

Looks like things are getting complicated with the Webster transfer now as Rangers have joined in. I’m assuming they have to put in an actual bid because they are in the same country and can’t get round that little loophole that Wigan and Blackburn were hoping to put to good use. I hope not but I got a feeling he could go to Rangers now.

I’m knackered so I’ll be off now.
