Baines made to wait for full England honours

Leighton Baines has been made to wait once again to receive full England honours despite impressing a wide audience so far this season.

Steve Mclaren has continued to snub the young Wigan Athletic left back which will surely dissapoint both the player and manager Paul Jewell alike.

It was rumoured that Baines would be given his chance for England for the forth coming friendly tie against Holland in the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday night. Now it is thought he may have to wait for the tie against Spain for his next chance of a place in the squad.

Baines was set to be called up to replace the suspended Ashley Cole for the tie against Holland but despite being watched closely by Steve Mclaren and his advisors it looks like the England manager will look towards the experience of Wayne Bridge to fill he position.
However I am sure this will not knock the young Latics star off his stride and will continue to perform outstandingly for his club......
