Wigan Athletic v Blackburn Rovers Preview

Latics have a shortage of firepower for the visit of Blackburn Rovers tomorrow (Monday), and supporters are to be reminded that the match is NOT all ticket and therefore, you can pay on the turnstile.

Lee McCulloch still has a game of his ban to serve after the abandonment of Saturday’s game at Watford, and Svetoslav Todorov has returned to Portsmouth as his four month loan spell has expired.

 

Henri Camara meanwhile, is still sidelined with his knee injury.

 

Paul Scharner, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Taylor, Andy Webster and Steve McMillan are all still on the treatment table.

 

Blackburn boss Mark Hughes will be hoping Benni McCarthy has recovered from Saturday’s challenge with Middlesbrough's Jonathan Woodgate that required treatment.

 

Hughes expects to name an unchanged side from that game, with Shabani Nonda continuing his partnership with McCarthy up front.
