Jason Roberts wants away from Latics

Latics striker Jason Roberts has decided he no longer wishes to play for the club due to talks over a new deal breaking down. His unrest has reportedly alerted a number of clubs such as Besiktas, Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic.
Roberts, who was Latics’ top scorer last season said: "We're not negotiating [anymore], if the club had offered me a decent contract and I turned it down then that would have been one thing, but I've been offered a contract that I think is impossible for me to agree to.
"Their valuation of me is virtually the same as what it was at the start of the season - this is not acceptable.
"I've not been offered a new one and it seems like I'll be moving on.
"It seems like the club wants to go in another direction which is fine - I just want the opportunity to get on with my career.
"There's been no fall out as far as I'm concerned. We've had a fantastic season - the best season this club has ever had and I'd like to think I was a big part of that.
