Albion see a tough ask as the host 3rd place Nottingham in the last home match of the year. Albion have agreed a loan of Callum Black to cover the props and Gareth Evans has been rulled out. Only 5 days till the Christmasa draw - lots of prizes but you have to be in it to win them!

Alllbion Christmas draw will take place at noon on Christmas Eve. Tickets can be purchased on the day or at the match on Saturday.
Only days now left till that day in the year when if you have small children you will be awake at some very early hour.
Albion will be looking at receiving rather giving to Nottingham this Saturday.
Albion have taken Callum Black from Worcester to cover the prop shortage we have due to long term injury.
Gareth Evans has been ruled out and Keni is back available after suspension, although only on the bench.

Nottingham
Formed in 1877, Nottingham have a lot of History behind them, but in early November Nottingham announced that they faced potential closure due to financial problems. Support for the club continues to grow and the players have been busy promoting the club both on and off the field, recently the players have ‘got naked’ for the ‘save our club’ calendar.
When Albion visited the Bay in September, there were high expectations as it was the second game of the season, this time around Nottingham Travel the 260 miles to Brickfields confident of a win, their average gate is 1498, hopefully Brickfields will exceed this on Saturday.
Nottingham have played 15 and won 12, Last week Nottingham played Leeds, behind at half time by 5 to 16, it became close but Nottingham lost by 12 to Leeds 19.

Visiting Brickfields
If you haven't been to Brickfields before you will be in for a friendly welcome from the club and the home support.
The ground is growing into a great stadium with plenty of food and beverage outlets to suit all comers. You can get anything from a chocolate bar to a four course sit down meal.

Halftime Entertainment.
At half time we will be inviting up to 50 kids a chance to take part in a drop goal competition at the club house end of the pitch.
The cost will be £1 entry and each entrant has just 1 life. The last one standing will win the prize.
50% of the profits will be going to Albion with the other 50% going to Rotary charities - this year both the Plympton Rotary and Rotaract Club's are supporting Ellie's Haven - a charity based down near Looe.
Those of you with kids, please bring them along and encourage them to take part. We will be limiting to the first 50 though - unlike the one we held at the end of last season where we wanted as many as possible.
Book your place on arrival with Darren Hands who will be at the north end (main car park end) of the grandstand. Any steward will be able to point him out.

Welcome to the OPM RUGBY CLUB
A new season approaches and it feels that we have had little time to reflect on the magnificent progress that the club has made on and off the pitch. If this season lives up to the last we are in for a great ride. Automatic promotion and an extended run in the EDF Cup were highlights that will take some beating but I believe that this batch of players is up to the challenge! Further down the club, good cup runs and high placing in respective merit tables deserved heavy nights at the bar, the players responded!
Everyone at the club was devastated by the sad loss of our friend and club mate Jamie Hutton ,who died tragically whilst on exercise with the Royal Marines. The response of everyone at OPM RFC has made me proud to be associated with the club and has been greatly appreciated by Brigadier "Big Jim" Hutton (Jamie's Dad) and his family.
This year we are starting junior rugby for boys and girls in school years 1 and 2. Hopefully one or two of the young children starting on Sunday 7th September will one day play for the senior club. We have recruited and trained several coaches but as always more volunteers are needed. The club will be open each week from 10-12am on Sundays. See you at the bar!

Christmas Night Out
Saturday 20th December
This year’s Christmas night out will be Pub Golf along Mutley Plain.
The Mystery item will be £5 green fee, which will go towards the kitty.
Players will be expected to turn up to the game in golfing attire and must have on their person a hat, a tee, a ball, OPM socks and a glove. Players must drink with their gloved hand.
Aim - is to finish your drink in as few sips as possible.
The game will start with a T time and all players will take a practice swing of a shot of port before starting the game, which will begin at 1926 with local celebrity and Club Chairman, Simon Adams opening the event.
