QUIZ NIGHT

This Friday will be the first Supporters Website quiz night. It will also be the biggest ever event and will help the club with bar receipts and profits to the website sponsored players.

Scoreboardender has agreed to set the questions and be quiz master. Teams can be made up of any number of players from 1 to 5 at just £2 per player with 50% of the takings going to make up the cash prize. For this first event this will a single prize for the first place team.

The clubhouse has been booked but if numbers are large we will move into the "Sponsors Marquee". With the quiz starting at 7:30 you are asked to turn up at 7pm to register and get yourself a drink.

The quiz will be split into a number of themed rounds, including a picture round and plenty of chance to replenish your glasses. It will NOT be a rugby quiz and should be suitable for all tastes and knowledge levels.

The evening will be a chance to have some fun, make new friends and learn some useless information.

If successful it will be repeated initially on a monthly basis.

simple rules

1. No cheating (using mobiles or asking to non participants etc)

2. Each team may contain NO more than 5 players.

3. In the event of two or more teams receiving the same number point then a tie breaker question will be used to decide the winner.

4. Quizmasters decision is final.

Thats the rule agreed.

More than 5 and you could run two teams.

Also it causes problems with tables.

Would you try and get 50 travellers in the coach to Moseley??
No don't answer that one.

Frank do you mean that each team may NOT contain more than five players ? i.e. a team with twenty players has four times as much chance of winning as a team with five players, surely.

Had a really good night at the quiz, I'm sure healthy takings at the bar, pasties provided in the catering department, and Magnus the quizmaster did a splendid job!

Hope to see a few more supporters attending these events, as we need to raise as much money as possible to ease the financial burdens at the club at the moment.

Good to see a reasonable turn out at the club.

Come on Albion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, Flanker.

He tells me that next time he'll stand on the table and do a song and dance routine.
