What the volunteer work force (F.A.B.) have been up to

This task for the F.A.B. group is almost finished, just a second coat on the green was the verdict after last week’s work.The decision was made this summer to match the home dressing rooms in the same décor in the  corridor and I believe the intention is to hang some photo’s/pictures on the walls along with changing the interview board to incorporate the new sponsors of the R.F.U. Championship.The pitch side is being weeded, there growing nicely, and then the plan is to cut the grass at the rear of the North terrace and the side of the Acronyms marquee.The pitch is starting to look the part with its first haircut this week.Will keep you informed with further developments as they happen.Looking forward to the coming Beer Festival in August it should be well worth a visit plus of course a chance to see what Shanners is up to.
