Double Header and Beer Festival

Only seventeen days to go folks to the first beer festival to be held at Brickfields on Saturday 17th. August 2013 and of course the double header against Aberavon and Exmouth.That coupled with the first games for the season for us to watch along with numerious musical acts including the group Risky Business and other bands to entertain us throughout the day untill 11.00 p.m. means a great day not to be missed and of course a chance to see the new squad and the brand of rugby that Shanners and the boys are putting on for us this time, not to be missed.
The bar in the supporters marquee will be decorated by Skinners and to whet your appetite here are some of the beers that will be available for your consumption. And to help you all cope with all that there will be all the usuall food available from the club plus of course Pilgrims Pasties and the Hambugers (best West Country beef I'm told) and the usual refreshments.
So make sure your there and why not invite your non rugby friends along to join you in a few drinks during the event which runs from 11.00 a.m through to 11.00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased from the club house beforehand or at the gate on the day, tickets are just £10 for adults and all others under sixteen are free : proof of age is needed in order to consume any alcohol please.

Lets get to the ground this season for the start of another journey, the England U20 game and Bedford game last season stand up for games where the atmosphere was oozing out by the fans.
I supported Cornwall in the County Championship being part Cornish and this was amazing.
I supported Albion at London Scottish last season and we all chanted Albion as they were walking off for half time, this was really good also.
It's not all about shouting for the side, just numbers can make the place feel good. Again the England U20 and this time the Newcastle home game, the marquee was busy and this was cool.
We are a matter of weeks away now for another fun packed and eventful season.
