The players presentation evening is of course all about the players and coaching staff being recognized for their year long efforts for the club. That said I want to take this opportunity to show the new club flag that has been mentioned, being presented to the club, for those who weren't there, and to give another round of thanks to those who helped raise the monies towards flying the flag again
Now, on to the principal reason as to why we have the players presentation evening, to show our appreaciation to the players and coaching/back room staff for all their efforts and hard work during the season just gone.
On a personnel note I felt that this year there was a noticeable upbeat feeling about the evening all through the meal and afterwards with a demonstrable atmosphere being shown amongst the squad, I know the lads had probably been celebrating since the last game three days earlier against Moseley but this seemed different somehow, more of a coming together for everyone, let's hope that future presentation functions can be arranged for a weekend as before to enable more of our supporters to attend.

What a smart looking bunch, the boys all dressed up in their best suits looking for somewhere to go to perhaps ( sponsored by Martin Luck ) looking the part this season in their outfits.

Player of the Year, Rob Langley being presentated with the trophy.

For the second year running Tom Bowen was elected as the Young Player of the Year, seen here being presentated the trophy by Mo Lovell.

Ruairi Cushion as the club captain did a grand job as usual in his role compare, he seems a natural and an excellent choice and glad to hear he is with us for another year wearing a number of hats this time apparently.

The Boss was full of praise for everyone connected with the squad and said he was looking forward to next season and to building on the platform achieved this term with additions to strengthen the club for the coming season ahead.

Sean Michael gave an excellent speech giving thanks for the past six years he has spent at Albion and saying how much he and his family had enjoyed it.
We were shown some excellent footage on the big screen reminding us of the time he was at Brickfields and of course the various hairstyles he sported during his time with us. An excellent servant to the club, one to be proud of and a very nice man. Good luck to you and your family Sean whatever you decide to do.

This hand drawn picture of the ground was presented to Sean Michael as a reminder of Brickfields, the picture has been signed by all as a thank you for the last six years.

Sean Michael was also presented with a signed club shirt to hang in his trophy room/ study back home.

James Creek being given his tankard in appreaciation of all the work he has done over the last five seasons under Shanners, Nat and Dawsey compiling the d.v.d's and his input into the analysis of the performances on the day prior to any changes being made to the on the pitch as a result of the coaches opinion.

Another photo this time of Paris Payne (the club physio) and his partner. Paris although some may not recognize him, does an amazing job in repairing the boys in time for the next game especially with the size of our squad.

Another party feel photo of Jamie Davies and some of the players W.A.G's

And I think my favourite of them all, something I don't think Ruairi was expecting but another indication of the mood of the evening from all the lads and lasses. plus of course the supporters.
Very much looking forward to next years presentation evening.
