Live match text reports for the away games

After the lack of the usual blow by blow text report for the Bedford game recently I e-mailed the Sports Editor of the Herald/ Western Morning news saying as to how disappointing it was for all our supporters who being unable to travel to the away games either with ALBI TRAVEL or independently and when could we expect to resume the normal service as it was very popular and much looked forward to and to enquire if the broadcasting team were unwell. I can't find the actual e - mail I sent, must have sent it into the ether I'm afraid. However here is his reply explaining the reasons for the blip in the service and clearly if we want to keep in touch with what is happening on our away games we need everybody to send him an e-mail ( perhaps just - can we have our text report back ) or better, from ALL those who are abroad to those who are at home please. Lets get this up and running again or we will lose it.
Here is a copy of the reply :
Hi Tim,
Thanks for your e - mail. I understand that for those supporters who can't make Albion's matches, the live blog provided would have been valuable.
However, we have undergone changes here, and now operate a regional sports desk with a slightly smaller number fof staff than the combination of the two sports desks ( WMN and Herald ).
As such, I'm afraid we dont have the resources to provide live text services for every match. In fact I would go so far as to say that I don't think there has been sufficient interest in live blogs to make them worthwhile for any club, perhaps barring Plymouth Argyle as an exception.
The match report from last weekend was provided by a freelance writer at Bedford, not by a member of our staff. ( Just had the thought that if we were to provide a match report at the away games to the paper, would the news desk pay us as a freelance writer ? )
We can set up automated feeds whch pull in twitter accounts that mention Plymouth Albion, and this may be a possible solution if there is enough interest.
However, at the moment you are the only person to have noticed it didn't happen last weekend. ( This wasn't the case of course but he wouldn't have known this )
If we get a few more e - mails in support of setting up a feed then we can certainly do so.
Of course, we will continuing our usual coverage through previews and news in The Herald, and the latest match reports in the Western Morning News on Sunday.
Thanks,
Andy Phillips
Regional Sports Editor.
It seems to me that they are cutting back and have to reorganize as a result, but please write to Andy as the twitter service which we can get either on a personnel level or on facebook and probably by other means as well keeps this important avenue open to all our supporters. And do it sooner rather than later as I understand that after this weekends game at Brickfields with Jersey we have only got untill the 7th. March before the next away game, so even if you travel away to the Albion games you can also write in as well please, many thanks as this is something we don't want to lose ever since Frank would phone home each time there were points scored in the matches to keep those at home in touch with the Albion.
As they say Do it Now, thank you all.
Sorry about all the red text, should have been in black except for my thoughts in brackets, cheers.

they clearly dont realise how popular the coverage was. Ony Argyle seem to matter to them at the moment when we really really need them.
The last two matches have been poor for coverage. Not only as the live text service disappeared but also video, the man f the match voting and pictures. After the Bedford game there was no report for nearly two days. The England U20 game was also ignored by them.its just footbal, football football.
Why dont we just ask the Club to provide the service the herald was offering?
It is sad that the local paper are not supporting the Club.
If this is the coverage we are now getting in the Championship what will hapen if we go down?
"How many more times,Ref?"
