How the French celebrate their local rugby team

The local council gets behind it's rugby team. Sadly the council in question is not the brilliant band of visionaries we have in Plymouth, but the Town Council in Cahors in France. For non French speakers the banner draped across the Town Hall " Tours ensemble avec Cahors Rugby" translates, roughly, as " All together behind Cahors Rugby". Cahors is famous for many things but not particularly it's rugby heritage, but it was delighted to finish mid table in Federale 2, the fourth tier of French Rugby. However the French international Benazzi onced the team.

Often the local authority owns the ground and infrastructure (even with mega clubs like Toulouse). That allows the clubs to put all the money into salaries.
