Let's do something for the club and ourselves this summer

We in the F.A.B. group ( Friends at Brickfields ) are looking for additional casual workers to help the existing group carry out remedial works around the ground for the coming season during the summer months and beyond. With the new fixture list that we now face it's an opportunity to present the club in the best shape for our new opposition away supporters as well as for us of course, to enhance the matchday experience for everybody to enjoy.  

It's important to keep our pride in the facilities we have at Brickfields as having been described as one of the best if not the best outside of the ex prem clubs in the Championship not withstanding the desire to bring back the ethos of a successful club team in the traditional rugby manner for all home and away supporters to enjoy rather than a segregated audience that is experienced both on and off the pitch.

And to that end we are asking you to help us to maintain and improve what we already have to offer, and please bring a friend as well if you can.

We have altered our workday from a Tuesday to Thursday from now on, so why don't you roll up to the clubhouse or on the patio for 10. 00 a.m. to meet up and see what it's all about, we have a coffee/tea break and something to eat at about 1.00 p.m. so you get looked after as well. If the weather is bad there are always inside jobs more oftern than not for us to carry on with but that doesn't happen very often I must say.

Here we are making some replacement steps for the North terrace.

This is an old one when we painted the newly aquired North terrace stand from Quins, there were some sixteen or so helping most Saturdays but what an impressive stand it was until the elements caught up with it

Inside the home dressing room, painted when Nat was in charge, this is after he made individual seating areas.

We built a new screen to the changing rooms after the wind damaged the old one.

The list is endless but it all helps the club operate come match days and helps with the expenses as well. So for just a few hours one day a week why not look in and do a bit more for your club.
