Improved facilities in the Supporters marquee

This time around the men on the roof of the Supporters Marquee are improving it and not damaging it, that makes a welcome change for the club and the FAB team who have done many a repair on the marquee in the past. The workmen had just left so I wasn't able to ask what thy were doing and forgot to check it out in the clubhouse, anyway it's an improvement for us.

It seemed pretty quite at the ground so I had a nosey in the main marquee where we were setting it up for yet another function, see below.

As has mentioned in the past and again a couple of days ago, the private function side of the business is on the up, great news for the club and lets hope this improved stream of out of season income can be continued. 

 

An excellent time for all the local supporters and families to contact the club for a quote for their private function.

The work was to clean the roof of the marquee. Previously the decking has the anti-slip wire removed and then power washed. The intention appears to be to restore the marquee to be fully used for supporters with gym equipment being removed.

I like wingers running with the ball!

Internal floor drainage could well be an improvement
