Halfway through the season sees Albion 10th, and their next opponents lying a lowly 14th, albeit only 3 points behind.
With everyone in the bottom half of the league one game away from the relegation zone, this week offers the opportunity of pulling away from the danger zone, or slipping into it.
Like Albion, Esher have been inconsistent this season but have won 3 out of their last 5 games, one of which was away to Rosslyn Park, currently 3rd in the league. However, they have also struggled to earn bonus point amassing 3 for tries and 2 losing. In the meantime, Albion seem to have put an end to their recent poor form having won their last 2 games, however both were against 'lowly' sides.
Albion are ahead of Esher on the try scoring front having crossed the line 45 times to Esher's 36. The stats look even better in defence with Albion conceding just 37 (third best in the league) to Esher's 53 . with more coming in the final quarter of matches.
It looks like we can expect to see at least one yellow card during the game, with both sides averaging two bookings every three games.
With the weather set to be fair with a gentle breeze, this ought to be a win for Albion, however in the past, Esher have made things difficult. The reverse fixture saw Albion shading it by clinging on to a 24-21 win.

I knew a Carol Concert from my younger days , could you supply contact details as it would be lovely to catch up after all these years .
But what suits a rugby supporter on match days isn't compliant necessarily with those who wish to attend a carol concert, so they probably contribute in other ways on match days with buying various tickets etc. be it the 50/50 draw or the travel club draw both good examples of supporters helping the club.
Let's hope the club will devise other ways of increasing income if a carol concert is not the answer.
To suggest that the support on Saturday won't be what the club need as a result of the low attendance at the concert doesn't make sense, that's all, frustrating though that may be.
